    Hi Pete,

Sorry to bust in on your profile messages, but i thought i would mention that i havent tried blitz on the thames, were i think you fish. In fact, i cant get boilies to work on the thames period, but thats another story. However, the blitz is genuinely a good bait and has caught me many good fish on other rivers. I have no commercial connection to hinders other than the fact that i live round the corner and know shaun, kelvin and bryan very well and i get to test their baits (which i buy at a reduced rate), so their is nothing in it for me other than the satisfaction i get when people catch fish on baits i recommend. Thought that just needed saying as my face has been in the last two hinders catalogues and i didnt want people to think i have a commercial interest. All the best Paul

Hi, Paul, sounds like one to try, have to get some and give it a crack. Thanks for the recommendation, should work on the Thames, most GOOD baits do.

Hi Peter sorry i've not been in touch but i've been working away in Devon [no p.c.access]. I'm just about to check the river reports, hope to find some blinding reports from yourself and fellow Thamester's.

Hi Larry, well being in devon was a good option, you haven,t missed anything! Very few fish coming out, but all that could change by the middle off the week.Lots of rain, drop in air pressure, and day/night temps being similar, spot on! Leaves will be a major problem in a rising river, but my new 2 1/4 harrisons should cope with that!

Hi Pete sorry won't be able to make Thurs, something important cropt up! Shame about your lost fish may have have been a carp or that mega barb that's out there image . Talking to fella today he was fishing near bray and something attacked a 6lb barb that he was playing it was well marked and bleeding when he got it in, who knows whats in that river.
    Have a good day Larry

Hi larry, its not going to be warm out there tomorrow, but the river should be spot on? Cold feet in my chesties about the only guaranteed thing, but soon forget about that if the fish play?
As for the 6lber getting chewed up, doesn,t have to have been a monster, a 15lb pike would have a go, seen one on the kennet years ago, took a fish I was stalking, killed it , but let it go. The barbel was retrieved, it weighed 6lb, caught the pike and it was just under 15lb. BUT we know that monsters lurk out there, 30lb fish for sure, just hope I can get one before the poles eat them all!!!!
Might well do some piking soon, certainly if it stays cold.

Hi Larry, been getting the odd fish, lost 2 gooduns (think one was a carp), first one snagged me after tearing off downstream at 100mph, the other, the hooklenght shredded about 2ins from hook after a full 10mins, and that was a barbel DOH. Will try the swimming pool swim first, depending on what the flow is like, it was just fishable thursday am, but no more than half way across even with the grippers. If it stays as it was yesterday then, with the spot on forecast it could be good!!!!!!!!
I will try for a dawn start, usual area, give me a ring on 07723320178 , if no answer, i,am either still in bed or playing a fish(wishfull thinking!)

Hi Larry, hope the feeders work for you! Going to start at the same place thursday, depending on the river. The weir at weybridge was running with both sides open last night, may be higher/faster tomorrow?
